Clicking/squeaking coming from passenger rear wheel.

For at least 6 months I have had a squeaking/clicking noise coming from my rear passenger wheel. I can hear it faintly while driving and it becomes very loud when braking. While driving it sounds mostly like a squeak but when I brake it sounds like there is something flicking with each revolution of the wheel. If I compress the brakes quickly it stops. If you have any ideas please help! Thanks!

Not sure, but I would look at your rear brake pads, rotor, wheel bearing. the rotor could be warped and as it spins the warped part could be contacting the pad and making the click sound (i have experienced this on a front axle). The pads could be worn down to the point of needing replaced and there is a little clip on the pad that rubs on the rotor to let you know they need replaced and it makes a squeling noise. Good luck and hope this helps some.
