Cleaning NSS how difficult

Greetings All,

I need to clean my NSS based on the way it is acting and what I have found here on the forum. What is the difficulty level of this job? I am not much of a car guy but I can read and follow directions. Are there any special tools needed? I have found two sets of instructions on the web but any other advice will be greatly appreciated.

i know they are supposed to be a pain to get off the vehicle. other hten that, i have never had to do anything with one but there is a good write up with pics floating around google

Just make sure when you open it up you don't loose the springs and put some good dielectric grease in there after you clean it and you'll be golden.
