Alright I know I'm going to get beat up on this one, but what the heck LOL. You never know, this one might stump all you masterminds.

What kind of cleaner do you use to get mud stains off of a soft top?

Soap apparently doesnt work.

Just keep packing it on until your whole top is brown.

I use a pressure washer and that seems to take'em right off. Don't know the long term effects of all that pressure on the top though.

I tried the pressure washer route, no go. I even used a pressure washer w/ soap, LOL. I'm thinking if it were "conditioned" w/ something then it would be a lot easier. Ya know the jeep is already crap brown, maybe I should just leave it this way, LOL.

Did you try a stiff brush? That and powdered lawndry detergent would always get my tan top fairly clean.

Yeah a good stiff brush and elbow grease is what I use on my black top....a pressure washer looks good till it drys. Ya have to get in there and work that dirt out!!! :wink:

the only thing i clean off my jeep is salt. mud can stay until it rains.
