The 5-speed in an '84 CJ-7, what model is it?
Is this the same 5-speed as in all CJs? Or did
they vary through the years? Any breakdown?

t-5, kinda week, it can be replaced by a world class t-5 outta camero/firebird, or a mustang[addsig]

Similar to the T-5 that came in Mustangs?
I have a buddy who always rebuilds them.

One of the CJs that has my eye has trouble
with the overdrive. I'm thinking it probably
needs a transmission rebuild, so just curious what
kind, so I can spec out rebuild kit prices.

they are from what i read bascily the same but the WC T-5 is alot stronger, Avanced adapters makes a tcase adapter (i think) for it[addsig]
