CJ 7 carb swap.

In my humble oppion go buy a rebuilt carb at the local auto parts place. One off a 1979 Pinto will work and it was the cheapest 2150 I could find. Mine came from Advance Auto Parts. Get a Mr Gasket # 1937 Adapter Plater and just remove the old carter and replace it with the motorcraft. You will need to build a linkage a small task. Then you are ready to go. tug

Adapter plate was 18 bucks with tax and the carb was 180 bucks roughly. 20 bucks for a breather. Best money I have spent in a long time on my Jeep. Bounty hunter was the first to mention it to me and thanks go out to him. tug
