Just wanted to let everyone... I have a 4 cyl. in my 1983 CJ-7, has great torque, but not a lot of power. Recently my clutch went out, (pressure plate collapsed). I was told by someone I see as a major Jeep fanatic that rather than replacing it with factory clutch, use a CenterForce Dual Friction clutch. Helps carry the load so to speak. You start putting heavy bumpers and tires on a 4 banger and you are going to kill the clutch.
Check it out . Let me know if anyone has the same clutch....
