poor fishy, i dont think i've EVER seen a cat fish that big. all the ones i've see have been small like i can hold you in my little kid hand small. i didnt know they could get so big

Yeah, down here in New Mexico, i've seen them 25-30 lbs. And that's in the desert!

I know the guy that was featured in the story about that fish. It actually happened last spring. I've caught catfish around here that would be big enough to swallow that ball without a problem. It was only about 6 or 8" in diameter (the ball, not the fish). I also have an old high school friend that holds the state record for catfish at 47 lbs. My biggest was a 30 lb flathead when I was 8 years old.
