I am looking for a weber conversion carb for an 4.2 in good shape. I have a 87 yj with a junk carter on it. It runs good on flat ground, but when you get in a angle of any sort it flods out. If you have one you want to sell please let me know. Thanks Rich

search for weber 32 under bmw forum, the older 320 which is an e21 chassis code. i ran 32/36 on my e21 and bought them from other bmw guys with manifolds and filters for 45 or 50 bucks. check bimmerforums under the e21 section or ebay

Rich,
Before you do the Weber conversion take a look at the MC 2500. There is a guy on Ebay that sells them, or I could provide contact info to you if you like. I did the swap on my 79 CJ 5 and I am truly impressed. The guy is very knowledgable and provides tons of service and technical info. He also sells a Distributor Update that is well worth the money as well.
Good Luck, Mike aka signguy.

bringing back an old thread, i have been reading about this guy and i think i am going ot get a kit from him. this poor old 34 weber just is not as good a carb as the 32/36 is. i like the motorcraft carbs though, having owned a 65 mustang with one stock on it and having worked on it a bit.

I am sure you will be happy with the MC 2500 carb conversion, I sure like it. Better yet, the guy is very knowledgeable, shares tons of information, and stands behind his stuff. Rare qualities these days I'm thinkin'.
Good Luck!

yes sir, from what i read, he is not one you'll find often. if you live in colorado springs, he says he'll put it on for you and if you don't live there, he gives you his number
