so last nite on the way home from work i broke my 3rd dana 35 axle and it was the spyders again buy a dana 44 tomorrow needs to be regear and a spool put into it will the stocks shafts be fine (on a tight buget) for now? im gonna keep my foot out of it now im tired of changing axles.. anyone around lebanon ( or surronding area)oregon know of a good place to take an axle to get it regeared??

D44 with stock shafts, even with a spool, is tons better than a D35. I run front and rear D44's with spools, on 36" TSL's.

im running 35 bfg and i slightly built 4.0 liter im snapping the sydiers. then this time it took everything out so i had to limp it home in four wheel drive

Are you thinking of going full size? The components will be alot more abuse prone. As cool as it is to see carnage, when it's yours, not so much fun.

i want to keep it legal sooner or later i will go fullsize
