Hi,
I think I mentioned this in another post but...
What is happening is as follows: you have a ground fault in that part of the electrical system. The front light bulbs have two filaments, one bright one for the turn signal, and one dimmer one for the parking light. When the ground is bad, the power you apply to one of the bulb's filaments will find the path of next-least resistance which is to back feed through the other filament's circuit.
Therefore, with no ground, turning on the parking lights makes the power back feed through the turn signal filament, then through the dash blinker indicator filament, then to ground.
You'll probably notice that when the parking lights and blinker are on simultaniously, things really go crazy, this is because both filaments now have power, and there is no ground and no where for the current to backfeed.
Check the bulb sockets, the grounding prong is probably corroded and/or broken off. Also check bulbs themselves and the ground wires from all the turn signal bulb sockets to the chassis and be sure they are making a connection.
I know the above scenario sound alittle strange, but it has happened to me twice now on my cherokee
Good luck
