The windshield has those two large knob-bolts and brackets that make it nearly impossible to pull the dash with the window up. I usually just fold down the window for easier access to the dash.

A avyoung New member Dec 1, 2003 #22 I didn't have to do anyhthing with the dash. Just pull the assembly down and out. then it pops right out.
