Black Diamond X2

I guess I don't know what that is...I googled it and a Japanese bicycle came up

It's a conversion for the CJ, YJ and TJ to run coilovers up front and leaf springs in the rear. Decent idea for the CJ and YJ's, but utterly dumb for a TJ. You would be replacing coils with leaves and going back in time.
I really wouldn't want the kit for a CJ or YJ either. I believe that if you are going to have leaves on one end of a Jeep it is better to have them on the front for handling reasons.
Maybe there is something else to these new kits I'm missing, but that is what I read about them the other night.

You hit it on the nose.

I'd have to drive it before I bought it, but I think it looks like a great system for CJ's that see road time.

We met a pro crawler named Stan the Man at Paragon who had a BD coilover YJ. It was sweet. Got a pic of my son on it. I'd love to do that but you're talking over $3-4K in suspension and belly pan alone...

Yeah, that's about right. I have at least $1500 in my rear 4-link and that's with aorchox, not coilovers.
The older style Black Diamond plain coil kits for YJ's are still sweet.
