Big tires on stock wheels...

I've seen writeups of folks using GC arms on TJ's and XJ's to clear bigger tires on stock wheels, but the bushings are different and it looks likt a pain to do, not to mention modifying the bushings might make their lives short, not to mention they are stock length and no good for lifts...

For those wanting to do it, Rusty's is making offset arms for this reason. No more steering stop adjusting for 31's (or 33's so they claim).

steering stop? is that the point where you can't turn the steering wheel?

Yes, but depending on what backspacing the wheels you bought are it shouldn't be a factor for you to run your MT/R's.

By the way, what backspacing are they?
