Bad vibration

i have a nasty vibration coming from somewhere in my jeep (87 YJ) its seems to start when i hit about 45 -50 mph, the problem is that it comes and goes, this morning i was doing 80 and nothing, but when it is bad, i turn the wheel and it seems to go away and then as soon as i straighten out its back again.... Any Thoughts?

Holy crap...you break 80 in your YJ...Are all of your tires balanced? Alignment is good?

see if there is any play in the rear drive shaft, and like 90growler said, check the balance on your tires. im almost sure its the tires about and 3/4 oz off balance.

yeah what they said.

any recent wheelin trips, you can throw a weight or have mud packed in the rim throwing it off ballance @ certain speeds.

alignment and drivelines are good to check as well.

possibility of a loose lug nut?

i definitly think its coming from the front end, i was thinking that it may be the front driveshaft out of balance....ive been having troubles getting the front end to disconnect after i lock it in 4

I'd remove the front driveshaft and see if it goes away, may help you narrow it down.
