A friend of mine has a ford f150,I think its an 84 model.He has had trouble getting it to run right.It'll run fine for a while than want to die out,and backfire to the point of ruineing a brand new muffler.He has tried a diffrent brain box,that wasnt it. Then he found a 1 inch square box with a couple of wires going to it.Started messing with that and found that when he disconnected it, the truck ran better,but sucked up the gas.He would plug it back in and it would run fine for a while,than start haveing problems again,and than he would unplug that box and ity would run fine.anyone got a clue as to what the problem could be?
