Axle seal failure

[04Overland]

It looks like I have and axle seal leaking on the right rear of my 04 Overland. I understand it has the "unique" D44 rear, can someone tell me what's up front, D35 maybe?
While I'll be fixing the rearend, I figured I'd change the gear oil in both. Can I run the Mobil 1 Synthetic or Royal Purple with out the need of special limited slip modifier?

When in doubt just add it. It's like 7 bucks at advanced. It won't hurt anything if you don't have limited slip and if you do then you need it anyways. Up front don't cone with limited slip so just add regular gear oil unless you want to spend all that money on synthetic
