now, tent stakes, they a red meat or a white meat. I heard they taste like chicken... Rubber chicken but chicken.

Yea, Walmart sucks. I worked there for 3 years in the electronics dept for most of it then I got transfered out of the dept. for conflict of intrest... I was Fixing Computers on the side which they knew about to begin with that was why they hired me. I was fixing THEIR comupters that ppl would bring back so they could resell at a discount. You know how hard it was to get anyone back there to even know how to sell something, all they had to do was look at the back of the cards on most the items and would tell you what plugs, and bonus stuff. but oh well.

Back to the ammo prices, I took the advice of a friend here and started checking AR15.com for specials. There are still some good deals there.

I am not trying to be a hoarder, but I would lke to have about 1500 to 2000 put up for a rainy day.

If you see a good deal, jump on it. They usually don't last and the ammo *****s buy it all up as soon as the deal hits the forums. Sportsmansguide had UMC 223 for $160/K SHIPPED but the deal lasted about 2 days. A lot of people got orders in and got their ammo but when I tried to order some for a buddy two days after I got the sale email from them he order acknowledgement said "your item is backordered". Two days later he got a call from them telling him his backorder was cancelled because the item was "out of stock". It was still in stock on their website AND it was still available over the phone (I called and asked) but only if he wanted to buy it at @$250/K ("we're sorry but item LX13759 is no longer in stock, but we do have item EX13759 at $90K more than your initial order. I'm sure you will be dumb enough to miss the bait and switch won't you). Redcats (French company) bought out sportsmansguide and their customer service has gone to hell in a handbasket. They used to be a good place to get shooting supplies and ammo, but now it seems they're just interested in selling shoes. Guess that's to be expected when a company that specializes in clothing for hefty women buys out your sporting goods supplier. If you catch a deal there buy it quick, print off order confirmations, and expect to have problems. I won't buy from them after they screwed my buddy. I would stick with AIM Surplus, Midway, and Wideners (in that order) for ammo. Shipping is expensive but remember you don't have to pay sales tax if you're buying it from out of state.......

you don't have to pay sales tax to them, but the state expects ppl to pay for items they buy over the internet. not that very many people do.

I thought that the state collected those "voluntary" taxes through the lottery?

There are some internet sites who are collecting taxes now for out of state sales.
What people do for now is just use a differnt site that doesn't

The lottery is a tax on people who are bad at math!

I haven't run into any sites yet that charge sales tax, but I know they are out there. If I could find it cheaper elsewhere, I'd buy it there, but I don't know that having to pay a tax on it would deter me if it were cheaper.
