Well, I have gotten my Steering Stabilizer. I wish I have a Camera to take Pics. Maybe I can borrow one.

I also Opted out of the Dosch Tech and went for Matching Front "long extend" BDS Shocks. Rear shocks are soon to follow.

Anyone have a Reason to NOT put the front shocks on before I have all 4 shocks ready to mount???

Well, I am only semi-happy. :( The shocks went on in a flash. the Stabilizer is a different story. Not Only is it a BIT@(-)!!! But I broke a U-bolt. :( Sad L33T!!!! PASmoke Could you get me a Pic of yours Like where everything bolted on. I have a feeling I am not doing it just right.

Ask, and you shall recieve.........anything else I can do, just let me know :)

Belly Pan Gone! Ol Cj on the rebound.

Hey are those steering stabilizers really that good? i was thinkin about putting a set on my TJ but i didnt think they made a difference i got the stock on one there now and its doing ok unless im hitting lots of bumps in the road but i juss hold the wheel a little tighter.
Also on the sway bar is it supposed to be mounted parallel wiht the frame or can it droop down a little bit? i had them mounted the way it is in your pic PAS but it made my tires squeek around turns, then i got shorter disconnects and i broke them, i have broken 2 sets of disconnects in the last 8 months and i just dont have ne sway bars on my jeep now.

Very dangerous to ride without those Disco's. I have my Discos adjusted to just bellow level to try and keep the Swaybar from shifting.

:: Edit ::

I bought my stabilizer to finally rid myself of the last bit of Death Wobble that I have. It only happens at 50 and hitting a pothole but it is a hair raising experience to say the least. Now If I can just get the u-bolts replaced so that I can put it on.

So the wobble is gone at last! This is a great deal. When I saw it it did not seem to awful bad but it was there and you had already beaten most of it. Just glad to know you have it under control. tug

Not sure what you mean by "Droop" , but the bracket is what sets the allignment......since the biggest face of the stabilizer is attached to the frame, the stabilizer should be as parallel as the bracket.
As L33t said, driving a TJ around town with the front sway bar disconnected is just looking for trouble. It's not the bumps so much, but if you have to make a hard turn, you can lose control, and do some damage to yourself or someone else....if the stabilizer is breaking the sway bar links, remove it, put in new links, and see about replacing the stabilizer bar. The sway bar links are far more important to have.

Well, Tug when I get those U-bolts it will be. I had a hard DW hit just as I got on the Interstate leaving Erwin. VERY spooky in the mountians. Apparently I don't know that you have to tighten those u-bolts together and ended up bending and breaking them. Oh well I will get them replaced.

Oh PASmoke the "Droop he is speaking of, you and I talked about in Erwin. How your swaybar is pointed up by the Discos and mine is pointed down or "Drooping" ;)

Well, Finally have BDS's all the way around. Unfortunantly, the Steering Stabilizer mearly lessened the Wobble. As feared, it didn't correct it. Then again, I was warned the a Stabilizer only covers problems up. Either way I did at least get the Desired effects considering the looks. :)
