Better wipers???
Took ol Tugly out Sunday for a real test drive. The top came off so I could paint the hard to reach parts. After Chruch we hit the trails of Rich Mountain. We had heard of these trails and never been on them. Well been there and done some of that hehehehehe. There are some big ol deep hard to get into and hard to get out of mud pits up there and some very rutted and slick red clay trails. I was able to go pretty far prior to looseing traction on my big ol 235 x 15 tires. Going to have to get the ol gal lifted and some good shoes. Everything seems solid on this Jeep, just needs to be made a little more trail ready. Did have a water problem with the electrial system was all choken down and back faring and stuff but a little wd40 in the cap and was good to go again. Can not get use to the 258 after driven the 4 banger for so long. Yj to Cj is a very big change as well. I cansee the Cj as a great trail rig once finished out and fitted with some better gear. The low granny gear is a wonderful thing but it is just to jumpy for my likeing so a thumb throttle is a must have. Picked up new cap button plugs motor craft modual and wires today for a fresh tune up. Rant and Rave I did, I am sorry just have no one here to tell this stuff. hehehehe Tug
