A few pics from my little vacation

Went to Hampton beach NH. this weekend we had a blast but the best part was sunday when we went to Epping, NH, To the NE Dragway. heres a few pics I took I have video too but I can figure out how to post it. Im heading up again next friday for street night. next summer we hope to be racing the stang. 700hp!!!!!!!

The blue hot rod with the silver flames ran a 8.7 that thing is bad a**.
Anyone in the area want to go in a few weeks let me know :wink:

UGGG! My GF and I went to Hampton Beach on the 4th of July weekend, she told me we were going whale watching but ended up suprising me with Dane Cook tickets... a halarious comedian thats on Comedy Central. Anyway, we went to the show and that was good, the next day we tried to go to the beach and the boardwalk... NOPE. There is one road in and one out, it took us 2 hours to make the one mile circle looking for parking spots and found none! we went back to our hotel. Later that night we went to the same place to try again... 4 HOURS! we were moving .00352 miles per hour, it was almost the worst 4th of july ever... right behind the one where I rearended a guy with my mustang. I will never go back, good thing Dane Cook was there! That was an awesome suprise.

It sounds like you had fun though! I wish I new there was a Dragway around there, we probably could have found a parking spot! Oh well... that's what happens when there are 3 states worth of people on one small beach town. Sorry if I highjacked your post... great pics!

You should try and go again but try getting a hotel on the water or close to it, that way you can walk everywhere. We parked the car early sat. morning at the hotel and didnt move it till sun. to go to the races. we went and had drinks at about 11pm at a place that overlooks the water and the boardwalk. It was amazing to watch everyone, that place is packed. But the people are soooo nice I couldnt believe the difference from the cape crudders :lol:
Joopin Im sorry you didnt get a chance to enjoy it, I can imagine what it was like on the 4th. Thats why we waited till the next weekend. Plus it was our annv.
Anyway it was a blast........

The only state license plate I didn't see there was Jersey... you know why? Cause there are beaches here! That's what my GF and I got from the trip. Heck, I live 2 blocks from the boardwalk! My GF tried to get a hotel on the water but eveything was taken. All those people had to stay somewhere! I was driving so slow on the strip there, my GF could get out and grab stuff to eat and drink all night. I hardley moved so she found me pretty easy...

Dude, you were in Hampton Beach and never dropped a line, that is only like 20 minutes from my house!

Epping is real easy to get to, I take the bike up there for open track night!


also, glad to see you had fun Purple! This is the first time in years I was unable to make it to the Night of thrills!

OH by the way, that road that took 4 hrs to get on is where all the tourists go, us locals know all the back roads (we also get past all the tolls)

I retract my "worst forth of july ever"... that was a little rude of me since my girlfriend spent time to suprise me that weekend with a hotel and a comedy show. Even though I was unable to park the car for 4 hours the fact that Kara (my gf) was there it made it much better than it would have been. I would have gone crazy and just parked in the street! Heck with it!

John, I didn't know you were that close, dang. Oh well we had a good time on the hotel balcony instead watching the riff raff in the parking lot among other things. plus it was our anniversary one year!

Johnny, we had originally planned to go to the night of thrills but started drinking too early to drive there. :shock: I didnt know you were that close either. care to join us next time?
Joopin where was the comedy show? we caught some of a beatles tribute across from the casino ballroom. Not my first choose but kinda cool to see.

Yeah that's where it was, the casino ballroom. It was July 3rd, and sold out! Yet we were in the second row.

When ever you guys are up there, drop me a line. I live on the north shore. On sunday 4th, I was accually in Hampton, but I only when down the strip once, and I was on my motorcycle with a couple of other guys.

Epping in only like two exits up 101 from hampton.

Oh ya Jesse, did you guys get to go to Guiedo Murphys for $1 Drink Night???

NO I DIDN"T DANG IT! The only drinking we got to do was going to the store and drinking it in the hotel room.
John, were you with 2 other guys on bikes that night? Did some kid come up and ask you to "revlimit it"? The reason I ask is there were 3 guys on bikes behind our car (a rented 04 silver camery). They had accents like you, haha. I didnt' get to see what kind of bikes they were on... was that you ?

No it was around 11:00 in the morning. I had my bike, and I was with a 04 R1 and a Vrod.

no one asked me to rev it, but the best is, in traffic, some drunk dude was yelling at me to do a wheelie. ahheemm.... ok in traffic, sure buddy no problem. and do you want me to just throw my bike into the car in front of me.

Oh well, that kid was asking every guy on a bike to revlimit it... only one guy did it that i saw. But he got desperate at the end of the night and came up to the window of my all powerfull toyota camry, "REVLIMIT IT DUDE!"... I smiled and proceeded eat my tasty ice cream.
