99 wrangler mods

I have a 99 green Wrangler sahara with 4 in pro comp lift, arb bull bar and air lockers front and rear, warn 9000i winch hi lift 33 in pro comp MT mounted on american racing AR-39 and a phat Rockford Fosgate system. DOes anyknow have any ideas on what i should upgrade next?? What will give me the most horses for something less than a supercharger and any more mods that would help on the trail?[addsig]

The usual would be to let the engine breathe a little more....

For starters, ditch the factory air box and get a cone filter of your choice (personal preference is K & N)...pretty cheap mod...should run you about $40 to complete that set-up.

Next, different exhaust....Borla, Flowmaster, Gibson....etc.

Another possibility would be a bored out throttle body and bored out spacer...

Hmmm...how about a Jet Performance chip Stage 1 ($240)....

That should get you going in the right direction!

Who would i see to get a performance chip and what would it do? I would also love a sticker but i dont know here to get one. When i upped my rubber to 33 i got 4.56 gears and im in colorado[addsig]

If you want the most possible power without spending the money that a supercharger would cost you... you could also stroke the motor... using a 4.2 crank and connecting rods... along with the aid of injectors and a new cam... you can get small v8 power[addsig]
