I need help. I bought a 95 Jeep Wrangler and out won't start. I will spin over but won't fire. The person I bought it from said they were told it was the computer. Does anyone have any trouble shooting advice? Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

What engine? 4. Cyl - 2.5L ?? Not REAL Up on that motor - - But what the Heck - Let's take a stab at it! OK? Does. The ENGINE crank over but WON'T start??? Right? It could be: FUEL or SPARK? Does it have a: Dist. Cap and a Rotor? 1. Did you check for spark out of the COIL? (Going to center post on Dist Cap?). Do we have FUEL ? You can. CRANK it over for a few minutes -- pull a Spark Plug -- see if there is ANY Gas on the PLUG?? Simple test. Any CODES? -- JB

2.5 engine. It will spin over, however, it has no spark. I got a 22, 23 and 24 codes. I do have fuel to the rail, pump working fine.

Yikes! THREE DIFFERENT. CODES!! Not Good! Are. You SURE. You have the following three CODES: 22 and 23 and 24 ?? How about: 55??? Or. 53????? Code. 55. Should always be at the COMPLETION of FAULT CODE DISPLAY!! Do you see the. CODES where your ODOMETER is? (Or count CHK ENG lite flashes??). First - - RE-Verify Engine Codes! You have FUEL - But NO SPARK?? We'll. Go from there--- CODES are as follows: 1. CODE 22 - Coolant TEMP sensor (out of range). 2. MAT sensor. - - OUT of range - above OR below acceptable VOLTAGE! 3. CODE 24. - - TPS. Sensor. -- OUT of Voltage Range or TPS sensor does NOT correlate to MAP sensor! Can WE BELIEVE you have. THREE BAD. Sensors?????? Hard to believe! Perhaps -- 5Volt. REFERENCE Volt ?? You May. NEED. VOLTMETER to LOOK at this problem! Put Voltmeter on. CENTER lead of TPS Sensor (key on) Manually. MOVE throtlle plate - from - idle. To FULL THROTLLE! What kind of DC. Voltage do you see? (Should vary smoothly. From - approx. 0VDC. To approx. 5VDC! If NOT - You MIGHT need a TPS sensor! Tthis is a POT - Variable resistor-- Fairly. LOW COST. Part -- Might want to TRY. TPS. Sensor. - Could HELP narrow it down. Has this JEEP ever run for you?? Good. Luck! Keep us Posted! JB
