'94 jeep cherokee Dash not working

The dash light, guages, everything just quit. It works sometimes with no reasion.I've checked the plug and it's connected and the fuse appears to be good. Is there a sencer to look for or some other trick I'm not thinking of?

do you mean the guages don't work at all or they just don't light up? if they don't light up it could be tha headlight switch, particularly the brightness adjuster(rheostat). good luck, john

Hmm... not near the jeep currently but its one of the relay switches where all your fuses are. I know the problem that I had was that my dad and I kept switching them around and mixed them up so I'd be careful about doing that. I think that there is a fuse layout that tells you what's what. I hope that was helpful....
