RE: Re: RE: Stupid ground hog

I have a 93 Wrangler. Here is my problem.....parked in drive after work....running fine, but now will not crank.....will turn over, getting gas, getting fire, changed rotor button....any idea????? :?: :?:

RE: bent driveshaft + highway driving = bye bye transfer cas

Hey, mods, how 'bout moving to the "CJ,YJ,TJ" forum??? That'll probably get you more help.
From what you're telling us, it WILL crank, just won't fire up. You changed the rotor button, but what about the dist. cap? I'm really not much help here, but just throwin' around in my mind what I'd be thinking if it happened to me. Does the '93 have a CPS (crank position sensor)? From all I've read those things'll cause some "hard to diagnose" problems.

my $.02.......worth about $.01

If it were the dist cap.....I shouldn't be getting fire thru a plug wire. Stuck a scredriver in plug wire and got juice......
