Anybody ever flipped both differentials to where the leaf springs on top of axle instead of under? And if so how much trouble is it to do so?

Harder to do and less reliable than a quality lift kit.

Actually a SOA (spring over axle) lift is very good, "IF" it is done correct. that being said, it will more than likely cost more than a standard quality spring lift kit to do correctly and SAFELY. There is more to it than just flipping the springs on top of the axle. Unless you have very good fabrication, welding, and vehicle geometry skills I would not advise trying it myself. Do lots and lots of research before you try this.. Many have done it though and successfully too.
