91 cherokee 4.0 sometimes hesitating

My '91 cherokee I6/4.0 sometimes hesitates a little. It doesn't happen all the time and it doesn't seem to be temperature related. I realize it could be caused by anything. Puzzling.

I changed the plugs, plug wires, distributor cap, fuel filter, air filter, coil. Recent fuel pump & new TPS 9 years ago. Next step crankshaft position sensor and check PCM connectors & grounds. I don't see any vacuum leaks. Anyone have any ideas?

'91 is MPFI, first year of the HO motor. I'd remove the throttle body, all the sensors, and give the throttle body a good bench cleaning. Pay close attention to cleaning the IAC housing and plunger on the drivers side of the TB.
