hey guys hows it going ok steal tearing into the yj i boought found out that the pasenger side rear shock bracket were the shock bolts to it is cracked and were it is welded to the fram it is rusted bad the frame looks like it is rusted a hole in it and suggestions on how to fix i am a very good welder to

Bare metal, drill a hole at end of crack, weld crack up. Sometimes it's neccesary to dress the crack by grinding chamfers but I usually leave a flat about the thickness of your rod (wire,etc.). I would definately check the frame with die pen to ensure there's no more crackage.:welder:

For holes . . . Cut out entire rusted area , get plate of same thickness (dress area) cut plate to fit, clamp it fast and weld her in. (They sell those spring pivot mounts)
