89 Jeep Wrangler 4.2 Electrical problem:
Turn key on - power to dash & lights.
Turn key to start – starter kicks then immediately all power shuts down, no power to dash or lights –
Turn key off after 5-10 minutes power to dash.
So far I have replaced battery, starter, relay & ignition module in that order. The fused links are OK.
I am thinking ignition switch or wiring. Any Thoughts, Ideas or Notions would be appreciated.

wow, and the battery cables are all good with not too much corrosion in them? sounds like a lot of resistance somewhere.

turn the key to run, not start, and jump the starter solenoid. see if it starts that way. then you know its not in that part of the ignition system

Agree check battery cables and ground wires and their connections. I had an issue where the battery terminal connection was not tight. I'd hit a bounce and the engine would turn off. Then I'd notice my trip odometer and radio stations reset. Embarrassing to admit it but it happens.
