88 yj transmission!!

So my transmission had been making a winding noise kinda like a gear drive and my transmission guy tells me its just about done! But he also tells me Im the proud owner (surprising how that statement is never a good thing) of the shitty transmission they put in those years! So I've decided to upgrade to the ax 15. Im in northern california does anyone know where I can pick up a good rebuilt that wont break my wheeling bank! Please I need help!

Ahhh the BA10. Get an NV3550, Same size as the BA10 so you shouldn't have to change your driveshafts. Friend of mine did a BA10 to AX15 and he had to replace the front shaft.
