Swaping an 85 Grand Wagoner 360 auto to an 89 Grand Wagoneer V8 auto using 89 wiring harness
The 2nd connector pic is from the 85 auto transmission. I have the old 85 harness thrown up to show how it was connected. The right side of connector comes off the transmission. Left side is old harness not being used.
This is drivers side.
The 1st picture is a connector in the original 89 harness being used. This is about in the middle of the firewal. There is no matching connector on 85 motor.
I thought these were the neutral safety/backup swich for each harness but can't tell from service manual.
Can anyone help identify these?
