6 Lug or 5 Lug axles

i was told that the waggie axles were stronger than then jeep 5 lug axles is this true? can a dana 44 with a 6 lug axle take more abuse than a dana 44 with a 5 lug?

The Waggy axles are stronger than most Jeep 5-lug axles, with the exception of the D44 found in the rear of some XJ's and CJ's. These D44's are 5-lug and the strength difference is too small.

The Waggy axles are stronger than anything found in YJ's and TJ's.
