289 IN A JEEP??

Has anyone heard of putting a ford 289 (from 67) in a YJ? I have access to a rebuilt 289 and I was wondering what you can and can't put in a jeep... all I have seen is a 350. I guess the motor mounts would be the big question. Thanks for any help.[addsig]

I had a possible lead on a donor Ford Mustang,
so I researched the Ford 5.0L swap already.

i think you can do anything --- some things are just harder than others. I dont see any reason a 289 wouldnt fit, difficulty would depend on your access to someone who can make the pieces for you. [addsig]
