1in. taller motor mounts...

Is the new 4.0L manual transmission the NV3500 or NV3550? The new 4cyl. manual transmission is the NV1550, that sounds big and strong, doesn't it

You don't need the taller motor mounts. They are used when a suspension lift is installed, and/or a belly-up skid plate, to reduce the rear driveline angle.

A body lift does nothing to affect the driveline, so you are good to go.[addsig]

well I plan on a belly up skid plate. Also I am ordering my suspension lift next month. I don't understand the part about reducing the rear driveshaft angle, isn't that what my S.Y.E. kit and cv driveshaft suppose to do? :-? :-D [addsig]

Yes, the SYE and CV driveshaft are needed to correct rear driveline angle after the lift.

When you do the belly up it will move the transfer case up, so the transfer case output will be pointing up. At this time you want to install the 1"mm to again make the drivetrain level and the transfer case output level.[addsig]

Well I have to say that I would rather have a transmission made by New Venture Gear behind my 4 banger than the POS Aisin AX5 any day of the week. I wonder if the NV1500 can be easily swapped in for an AX5.[addsig]

I doubt it. It's used behind the 2.4L being introduced in the '03 TJ, so it's likely to have a different bellhousing bolt pattern. Time will tell, the AX5's are getting in short supply since most go south  [addsig]
