1989 wagoneer limited 4.0l I bought this jeep from a freind a couple weeks ago as a winter truck. The thing ran fine for the past week or so. the other day i drove it a few mile to a friends house to hang out. i noticed that it was leaking a few drops of coolant. well yesterday i added some coolant to the reserve tank and cracked an in line like cap thing on the coolant line. i drove it (first day of snow) i got a few miles before it was about to over heat started going toward red i pulled over and shut her down. it over flowed the reserve tank. and got every where. What would the reason be? I was about to do the thermostate and flush the radiator today when i jumped in to start it it will not start. i did notice the last couple days i did have to hit the pedal a few time while cranking it to start. it was a little rough at idle when in drive.it has plenty of cranking power also. the cap and wires look almost new. im not sure where to start searching for the problem. It also wouldnt start off a few shots af starting fluid.
