1981 cj8 icm

The ICM on my CJ8 258 took a crap. I can not find a replacement. It was mounted on the passenger fender well. It has 9 wires going to a 9 pin rectangular connector. This is totally different from any thing that I have seen on the world wide web searching parts dist and other jeep forums. I need some help.

No. I found the correct component under the radiator overflow bottle. The relay that I had initially was the idle speed control relay. Replaced the ICM but still no fire. Went out to piddle with it Friday and suprise it just fires off. Then minutes later it dies again with no fire.

Put a Chev 6 cyl HEI dist in with an AMC gear and don't look back!
