1964 CJ5 Tuxedo Park

Just joined, looking for some guidance. I have a 1964 CJ5 tuxedo park jeep (3 on the tree) and while I was recently driving it switching gears became difficult and now it is stuck in 1st gear and will not freely go back into neutral or reverse, but it will go into 3rd gear. Is this something that is easily fixed?

sounds like a motor mount or transmission mount went bad and allowed everything to shift and bind your shift mechanism. or, the bushings on the shifter are worn and binding.
