04 Unlimited Front end noise

Hello all

Every time I take off from a dead stop I hear a 3 - 4 pops from the front end it sounds and feels like its coming form the left side. If I turn right I don't hear or feel the noise. I've been under looking at the connections to the front end and I don't see anything that looks unusual. If anyone has some Ideas on how to trace the problem I'd love to here them.

As the owner of an 04 Jeep as well my only advice would be to let the dealer handle it. It's still under warranty right and that's what they get paid for. Although I do understand not wanting to have to deal with dropping it off and all. Someone else may be able to offer some real advice. I do suspect though that yours is an 05. I didn't think that they made the Unlimited in 04.

yeah I agree. Take it to the dealership. If you have the warrenty use it.

Actually its a 2004 1/2

Thanks for the advice. I mainly wanted to get some Ideas as to what the problem might be. I didn't want the dealer to give some kind of run around. I shoulld probably have more faith.
