'04 5spd vs. '05+ 6spd

Is either tj transmission particularly better than the other? I noticed that the 6 speed is geared lower overall and that both only have the one overdrive gear. Is one tougher than the other or have any other advantage, or are they basically the same except for the gearing and number of gears. In other words, what I'm trying to ask in as many and as confusing words as possible is this: given the choice, would you prefer one trans over the other and if so why?

Thanks.

IMO, the NSG370 is built better and more stout with it's internal components. I would choose the 6 speed over the 5 speed.

The NSG is geared low. I like it because I am running 33's and still have use of all gears. Before the taller tires I pulled out in 2nd.
