And I found out it is 3 INCH pipe not 5 ... dad replaced his 3 inch with 5 inch and has the 3 left over, I was mistaken ...

My dad has some 5 inch chrome pipe off of his semi that was exhaust pipe and he wanted to know if I could use it to make a snorkel ... what do you guys think? Use it to do the main part and buy the pre fliter like I want? ... Oh, and of course, paint it black.

I have seen alot of good home made ones that go out the drivers side because when you go out the passengers side it goes over the hot motor and could possibly heat some of the colder air, and not getting as cold as a temp as going out the drivers side... I know a guy who just got the ARB unit...

I can help with #2... the best way I have found to remove my doors (BTW, I took the nuts off and kept them off) Roll down your window, reach through with your strong arm, grab the bottom of the door and lift straight up, they should come out easy. They are heavy, but not unbearable.

soft tops are nice in the summer, you can take the side and back window's out and still have coverage if it rains, the top just comes right up. the only downfall to having a hard top AND a soft top is finding a place to store the hard top when your soft top is on... and if it gets cold and you...
