    Exhaust manifold cracked

I'll give you another to question as well. I bought my Jeep (used 1999, 105K miles) and it had a Borla stainless header with a Borla exhaust, muffler, tail pipe. The Jeep had an exhaust leak which I thought looked like the exhaust flange was loose. Ended up it was the header had a crack in the...

Question about track bar and drop pitman arm

Question about track bar and drop pitman arm

Hey, no problem I didn't take it as obnoxious, on the contrary, I appreciate the advice since I am new to Jeeps! I read your exact words in an article when I researched it and it makes a lot of sense I just didn't think about it when I replaced it. Thanks for the input!

    OK, dumb questions time....

Thanks for the replies guys! And I'll heed the "limit questions" advice Bounty Hunter, I wasn't really thinking to begin with. I've been "lurking" for a while, reading posts, researching, gathering info, etc., and so far, I have been very impressed with the knowledge and helpfulness which seems...

    OK, dumb questions time....

I just bought my first Jeep and although I'm pretty knowledgeable on cars, trucks and bikes as well as having good mechanical skills, I know very little about Jeeps. I cannot contact the previous owner as I bought this from a dealership and the previous owner has moved away. My Jeep is a '99...
