    1991 cherokee limited abs pump runs constantly

    there is a recall on that system, it is a bendix 9 system. Do a google search and you will find some info. I am having the same problem. Jeep said there is a lifetime warrenty on the pump.

    I found a few things about the Bendix 9 ABS system. It was only on the 89- 91 cherokee limited, which I have..There is also a recall on it. Here is the info I have found sofar. I will get ahold of my Jeep dealer Monday.

    My Jeep doent have the round booster behind the master cylinder. I was told I have the Bendix ABS system..Getting ready to search it now.

    My 91 XJ's brake pedal feels hard, like you are pushing on the ground. I changed the rear brakes,everything, and all the front was changed. I also blead everything. I read some where to check the brake booster, now this is where I am feeling stupid...where is it at?? I know where it is...
