    i know the stock rides the smoothest.. but it needs a little lift and tire.. to make it look right, these 4cyl stock springs are sagging up front. chuck :(

I had the full blown mud cj 20 years ago.. bored 304, 488 lift cam, polished rods, dodge 440 valve springs to keep them from floating at 8,000 rpms, holly 650 on a torquer, chevy 302...

    Yeah, i got a street jeep, cj-7, doin a 4.0 5 speed conversion with ac and the whole enchilada. What 2.5" lift will be the best in ride and handling. Superlift, Rubicon, etc. please help its been 20 years since my last cj. chucker

    1982 cj 7 with weak 4 cyl. help

    1057505 JPRTOY, the t-18 is a true 4 speed? or a granny low 1st and usable 3 speed with syncroesz? I had a t-15 in a 72 cj with a built 304, ( 48 mph in 1st gear with a 3.73 gear what a rush) it held up well but only 3 gears.. chucker[addsig]

    4.0 swap into 81 cj7 , the whole enchilada
