Oh and check out Quadratec for purchaseing a top. They have the sunrider and a bunch of other brands. I almost always use them for my Jeep needs :wink:

Yeah I would take Craig's advice and go with the Sunrider. The half fold top option is a great one. If every my factory top bits the dust that is the move I plan to take. I hear you on the tint too. The year after I bought my TJ they started to come with the tinted soft tops from the factory...

I did that very simple solution and it worked like a charm. I've even had to use it on several outings :wink:

Really what Jeep/DC is trying to do is rub it in the face of BMW, Lexus, Acura and the rest that there SUV's are true off-roaders and not luxery never see a dirt road cars. Plus Jeep wants all those people that buy there rigs that never go off-road to know that is what they are intended to do

Hey If it wasn't for the Renegade package I don't think I would have gone for a Liberty (Maybe the Freedom edition) I really haven't been able to take her off-road yet (drove it through a construction site right down the street the first night I had it, just to make sure the 4-wheel drive...

Go for the Rubi my man. I absoulutly love my 99 Sport (with the Dana 44 8) ) but if the Rubi was out then I would have gone for that hands down.

Today was a good day because I got my copy of the Fall edition of Essentials (Quadratec). Always fun to look through and find out that you want almost everything in its many pages. Ah well maybe one day I will have everything I've ever wanted for my Jeep........naw :lol: that's just impossible
