RE: NJ inspection, Failed again! what are your thoughts on a dodge miltary front dana 60? are they just as good as chevy or ford dana 60's? i am still unsure whether it is a high pinion or low pinion axle or the spline count but i should know later tonight...i am just looking for some opinions...

yeah thats what it is..errr...good thing it was free..lol...well it was a 30 min drive to get it and it came with a dana 20 case....guess it will make a great boat anchor in the river..LMAO

sorry to bring this up again but can i use my existing bell housing and clutch from my 258 with this CJ T-18? i am pretty sure it came behind a 360....also how much would a flip kit cost for a 300 and would it bolt up to the t-18? i am picking up the t-18 with a dana 20 case bolted to it...

nope..all dana 60's have king pins...highsteer arms can be bolted to the 60 kingpins...

dana 60 front end from a chevy or dodge will have a passenger side drop....only ford front axles have the driver side drop....

My buddy's YJ peugot transmission is stuck in 5 gear..here is the situation the shifter broke cause soemone did a crappy job welding in an extension into the shifter( done when the body lift was added)....anyway he pulled the shifter out of the transmission to have it welds...got it welded and...

RE: Will This Fit? haha...this is why i deleted my posts...lol... :) ..yeas there are draw backs to running a spool or lincoln locker...your tires will wear out faster and chirp around corners...but that just adds to the cool factor IMO.. 8) ...no offence sully just giving an opinion!

Re: RE: Adventures in the Gadget Cave hey bounty...i already talked with warn...they do not make or sell the keyed motor gear any more..i may jsut take the motor to a machine shop and have it splined to fit the gear i already bought if i cant find the keyed gear..

any info on mating a cj t-18 to an amc 258 would be great...also looking for some write-ups on flipping a 300 and mating it to a t-18.. :lol:
