well 2 days and it running like crap again. it seems ok for back and forth to work (short trip maybe 4 miles). the farther I go the worse it gets so back to dealer again on monday. What should the idle be @ with a 4l auto anyway? temp guage @ 210 is that normal? Is a little bit rough idle normal...

I only have 5600 miles on it, and everything is stock the only thing I have done is change oil & run some STP injecter cleaner thru. What ever they did it seems to be running alot better.

Rent a heat gun for about $20 you'll be done in 10 minutes, then clean residue with goof off

Looking to purchase a sport rack for my unlimited. Any suggestions on a decent brand.

The dealer told me my distributer was out of synch? Does that make sence to any body? they say they changed a spark plug and resynched the dist. Seems to run better but what was it out of synch with? Do they mean timing was out?

What do you get... took it to the dealer. they said the distributer was out of synch and replaced 1 spark plug. seems to run a whole lot better. Idle is staying around 750 and not so rough. I will run a couple of tanks of 89 thru see if it is really fixed.

well I ran injector cleaner thru with a tank of 89, no change. I also noticed the idle fluctuates between around 300 and 8oo. I checked for codes with the trip reset and key on deal, nothing. I will bring to dealer again tomorrow see what happens. I think they stall for a year to avoid the lemon...
