Ok thanks for input. I just remeber reading somewhere on here that stock drive train was only good for up to 33s which is what I'm running now. I just did not want to try 35s if its going to surely break something.

Can my stock drive train 89 4.2 5 speed manual handle running 35 inch tires? Or do i have to wait till I upgrade my drivetrain some day? Thanks. Guys

Yea i had to return my yj back to the shop after the 'professional installaion' body lift cause it would not go into reverse. Only thing on my jeep i did not do myself. I wish i did now and would have 350 more bucks in my pocket . You Would think they would check these things! !!!!

Thanks bacon :) I finally got it looking good. Now got to get to all the little stuff it needs. A radio, oil leak fixed, carb worked on, etc, etc,etc, it will never end lol but I really enjoy working on it

With 192 k it runs great. 5 speed with original 4.2 motor. I plan on keeping this yj forever and just replace drivetrain when ever it blows up someday. Money is tight right now with newborn, 2 other boys and wife not working, but next few months plan on putting in 4 inch rubican lift, flares...

Traded in my 235 75 15 tires for a used set of 33 x 12.5 x 15s (60 dollar trade difference!) And rolled on 3 coats of textured yellow durabak 18 bed liner paint

Installed my new center console ammo can wich I also hurculined

Installed my new corbeau seats!

Painted rear grey seat black with vinyl paint, and painted dash with plastic paint

Repaired couple small dings on hood and one on side before I sanded exterior down completely. Found zero rust after sanding it down! Just surface stuff under jeep
