Did the nutter bypass as I explained in another thread, and it worked wonders for my "89" Don't mess with the vacuum system, as the EGR has to be in working condition, or other problems may crop up.

I have had many Jeeps that have developed this problem. Usually the Stabilizer Cylinder is worn, and replacing it with a "Good Quality" shock will make the problem go away.
