Looks like your axle rolled of the spring perches. Are those wedges between the spring and axle?

Do you have some type of locker? Mine does that too but it's due to the detroit locker in the rear.

Is your alternator internally regulated or was it regulated through the computer?

Broke a ujoint backing out the garage yesterday. looked at it again today and its still broken.

This may be way out there I broke the dip stick tubing on my 4.0. Found the tube is the same length as a 2.5. The 2.5 tube mounting bracket needs some massaging but it works.

2001 wrangler Does anyone know where to buy them?

I used quadratec chart. I have 36" Hummer tires and 5.33 gears. I think it went to a 42 tooth gear on the speedo. Pull the old one out to see if you have the short or long shaft. I'm pretty sure all dana 300 have long shaft.

HEI or DUI ignition As for the steering I had the same problem on my 84. Ball joints were tight but ungreaseable. Replaced with new greaseable ones cured problem

Tell me more about the 2.5 HEI you have. How much are they? How long does take to get one? Will this work in the AMC 2.5?
