Well a wreck on my89 nissan pickup won me my 1st jeep(a 87 yj) I miss the pickup because it was bought new in89 and paid off, but I've fallen in love with the whole jeep thing ,it shakes ,rattles ,and rolls ,its a jeep! by the way are you from coffee county? Im from pike county,any waygood luck!

i have probably the same problem with my87 yj,checked out the vent but nothing major since it has a screen wire filtering out any large debris,also checked the drain hose,all ok, so now im pretty certain the culprit is the windsheild cowl gasket 50.00 from jc whitney,145.00 from a local jeep...

just changed out my plugs,wires,dist.cap,rotorbutton,and the ol' 87 yj,it runs and idles a whole lot better,i used autolite plugs,duralast wires and cant remember what brand dist.cap/rotorbutton,but for my budgets sake for now i had to go cheap.....so far so good the ol'girls running great
