    Jeep newbie

You might get away with just dropping the transfercase and keep the old shafts. I would put a SYE and a new shaft in there to be on the safe side. I would think the 2.5 would be a bit sluggish up hills and such with 33s without regearing. Your tires might rub too.

    annoying rear view

Yeah they were rear view mirror kits. I've cleaned everything really well. It is a newer mirror, I've had it for about a year. Those wink mirrors look like they are too much for me to handle.

Do they have a bracket that mounts directly to the windshield frame so I can avoid the glass completely?

    annoying rear view

Every month the rear view mirror in my YJ falls off. I've tried many different kits to get it up again always with the same results. Longest time was 3 months from some PL Construction adhesive. Most of the times it falls off when I close the door. Anyone know some kinda of super adhesive for...

    1990 YJ +B relay chattering

Either behind the glove box(have fun), or in the engine compartment driver side. I'm leaning more on the glove box side though.

    Tires

Mostly on road driving? Or this strictly off road? If you are mostly rolling around on the road I'd say skip out on the claws. Mud Country are pretty nice, A friend of my used them for awhile he said they were a bit slippy in rain but otherwise a great tire. Don't know much about the MTZs. I...

    Brake makes radio stop

I had kinda the same problem on my old 83 volvo. When I stepped on the brakes the radio would come on, lift my foot off and the radio goes out. Had to ride the brake to listen to the radio. I just ran a new power wire from another spot in the fuse panel and fixed my problem.

    Lift help

Spray up the bolt real good with some PB blaster or something of the sort let it sit for a while and give it a go. If that doesn't work out for you try putting a torch to it. For the pitman arm..use a puller it should come off.

    Turn signal handle

Wheel has to come off to access the stick/switch. Very easy process if you have the tools.

    master cylinder upgread

Master cylinders out of ford E-350 vans or F-350 trucks might work out. I've seen some write ups using those parts for the bigger bore.

    HillHold question

On steep hills the jeep will hold itself so you won't roll back giving you a few seconds to get in gear and start going. I can see it being nice and annoying at the same time.

    HillHold question

From the 2011 owners manual page 415... NOTE: The HSA system may also be turned on and off if the vehicle is equipped with the Electronic Vehicle Information Center (EVIC). Refer to Electronic Vehicle Information Center (EVIC) in “Understanding Your Instrument Panel” for further information...

What rear seal? Diff over? pinion gear? Transfer can be cracked open and scrape off the old RTV and reapply new. Depending on what rear seal it is might just be more of the same.

    Rivets or Bolts

I vote allen bolts. Can't tighten rivets back up if they work there way out. You'll have to drill them out if there is a problem during installation, that could open the hole a little bigger and make loose rivets or ones that never get fully tight.
